About GenStar
GenStar was established to provide personalized research services to the courts and probate law communities with an already proven track record in estate investigations, forensic genealogy, due diligence, and skip tracing.
Based in Sacramento, California, we have built a reputation for locating lost or missing heirs, as well as determining heirship for numerous estate planners, attorneys, court officials, and trust officers in various metropolitan areas throughout the United States. With over 20 years experience in the business of international probate research, GenStar International can utilize its large network of investigative partners based in this country as well as abroad to achieve results.
Estate Research
GenStar can identify and locate the closest living relatives in estate matters in which the heirs are unknown or missing.
We will determine if closer heirs exist than what is already known, or if additional heirs need to be located.

Forensic genealogy is the study of kinship research with regards to DNA identification, locating heirs in probate matters, and clearing
title in real estate.
This is similar to work done by conventional genealogists, but which requires a standard of proof that is acceptable in a court of law.
